About the Program

The C4C Coaching Leadership Model
A practical framework for helping coaches build communication, trust, accountability, leadership presence, and healthy team culture.

The C4C Athlete Communication Model
Great coaches don’t just adjust strategy—they adjust how they communicate based on the athlete in front of them.

C4C is hands-on, practical, and built for real coaching environments. Coaches leave with tools they can use immediately, not just ideas they heard once and forgot.

The result is stronger coaching leadership and better outcomes for coaches, athletes, parents, teams and organizations.

My passion for coaching started close to home. For seven years, I coached both of my sons’ soccer teams in Santa Fe and Bernalillo, New Mexico — often leading two teams at the same time — working with players from U5 through U13 in both developmental and select programs. In 2022, I was honored to be named Recreational Coach of the Year by Rio Rapids Northern Soccer Club.

Professionally, I’ve been instructing since 2012 with a focus on leadership development and coaching excellence. I’ve had the opportunity to train professionals at every level — from new hires to CEOs and executive leaders — helping them develop practical leadership skills that translate into real-world results.

I founded Coaching for Coaches (C4C) after recognizing a gap in how coaches are trained. Most programs focus on tactics, rules, and safety — all important elements — but far fewer focus on the leadership and communication skills that truly drive successful teams.

Great coaching requires more than knowledge of the game. It requires the ability to build trust, communicate effectively, develop team culture, and inspire athletes.

Through hands-on, engaging training, my goal is to help coaches strengthen those leadership skills and elevate the programs they lead.
